The Chanllenge
A leading wine and beverage wholesaler needed EDI Project management assistance as part of a wider JDE ERP implementation project.
The Process
We scoped, designed and implemented the EDI element of a larger ERP implementation project, liaising with the outsourced ERP implementation team as well as the dedicated EDI managed service supplier – TrueCommerce
The Solution
We created specifications and project priority planning as well as the future BAU resource planning, documentation and training of staff in the newly demerged company.
We designed a number of specialist message flows to assist with communication with the client’s customers.
We planned and carried out a comprehensive series of testing to ensure all contingencies were catered for in the roll out of the project.
The project was shelved – due to Covid – but we completed a comprehensive handover process document to allow the project to be pick up at a later date
