How to Interpret your Dreams
'Last night I had the Strangest Dream….’ Sound familiar??
We have all thought or said this but what exactly does that dream mean?
Is it the playing out of a Film or Movie in our heads or a way of predicting the future or just our sub conscious informing us of the way we want to be?
Dreams are potentially journeys to other worlds. This means we spend 2100 days of our
lives in these worlds
This is in effect 7 years in a completely separate world from the one we inhabit during the waking hours
Sometimes this parallel universe is only slightly different but on occasion it bears no comparison to our normal lives.
Consider some of these other facts about dreams and dreaming:
Everybody dreams. EVERYBODY!
Simply because you do not remember your dream does not mean that you did not dream.
Dreams are indispensable
A lack of dream activity can mean protein deficiency or a personality disorder.
Men tend to dream more about other men. What about women?
Do they dream about men or woman more?
It's true, men tend to dream more about other men, while women dream equally about men and women.
Give up smoking to improve dream quality
People who are giving up smoking have longer and more intense dreams.
Toddler dreams
Toddlers do not dream about themselves. They do not appear in their own dreams until the age of 3 or 4.
Are you a Snorer?
Research has found that if you are snoring, you cannot be dreaming.
Blind people do dream
Blind people dream. However, whether visual images will appear in their dream depends on whether they where blind at birth or
became blind later in life.
Vision is not the only sense that constitutes a dream. Sounds, tactility, and smell become hypersensitive for the blind and
their dreams are based on these senses.
Nobody knows for certain why we dream but Dream research has been done my some of the best human minds. This book takes a simple look at the teachings of Freud, Jung and Cayce.
“Dreams...are not meaningless...they are a completely valid psychological phenomenon, the fulfillment of wishes... constructed through highly complicated intellectual activity.” Freud
“Dreams are the main source for all our knowledge about symbolism.” Jung
Dreams can guide us in the right direction, this book is like having your own spiritual
